Cydia continually 'loading data'. No response from Cydia icon.

No response from cydia icon. After downloading cydia, iphone 3gs works fine but when i tap into cydia all i get is message 'loading data'. Been the same for three days. Tried re-installing 'blackra1n' but get same thing, so i can never access any cydia programmes or links!

Wait until all data is loaded and your phone will restart or 'respring'. After that you can open it.

I downloaded cydia after opening its network. its hanging

if you have backup of your stuff then restore your phone and next time try jailbreaking from a good source i will recommend ultrasnow or www.jailbreakme.com

Hello. I'll be happy to help. More than likely, you will need to reset your phone in iTunes. If you have your SHSH saved, you should be able to download the version of the OS that you want from here. I assume that you want to rejailbreak, and you should be able to do with with Pwnage Tool or Green Pios0n. Please note that unless you have your phone backed up, you will lose all data. If that is the case, you can likely recover photos and other data after the fact using the info here. Make sure to backup your Cydia apps with Apt Backup (you can find it in Cydia), and do periodic backups through iTunes.

Iphone icons not loading`

Press and hold the the icon for the game that is giving you greif. The icon will start to shake, and a little x will apear at the top right corner. Press this x. Now go back into iTUnes and download the game again, and it should work! If the iPhone is jailbroken and the app is from cydia, go into cydia, delete the game and redownload it.

If the app was paid for, you can delete and download it again for no charge!

Cydia won't load

You need a program like iphonebrowser or ssh with winscp.

Go to /private/var/lib/apt/lists
and delete all the files in /root/private/var/lib/apt/lists/ except for the partial subfolder. Do not delete Partial folder. Reboot phone and restart cydia and it should work just fine.
