I charge my i phone over night and after a few hours the battery dies

Your battery died a slow agonizing ***** and is in need of replacement if your charger is good.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the same problem.

Will the old battery (that you are replacing) charge up at all? If the old battery charges but the new battery will not, then it's likely a bad replacement battery.

To rule out the possibility of a corrupted battery meter inside of windows, you may wish to leave the laptop on battery power only, until it dies. A 5% charge will usually only grant you about 20 minutes of laptop life maximum. Since you left it charging all night, you should get a few hours of life before it dies. If you get a few hours of life, the battery meter software is corrupted.

Most likely though, the replacement battery is bad.

Im not sure if this goes for phones...
But I noticed that when you get something with a charger and you seem to over-charge it (Leaving it constantly plugged in or charging it for long periods of time after its fully charged) it actually makes the life of the object shorter....

It could be that because you've been leaving it over night to charge its been eating at the LGs battery...

But like I said, im not sure...
Obviously you can't fix something like that...

change power setting or get a new battery

You just have to charge it fully but not for long as soon as it turns full battery then swithch ur phone off then take the battery out for a sec then put it back on then turn ur phone on then it will work for a longg timeee kk..

Yes, you should resort to a new battery, coz the old one is exhausted. Overnight charging is not a good habit. You should charge 2-3 hours until full, and remove the charger

hi your battery has created a memory because you didn't follow simple battery guidelines:

For a new phone with a new battery;

1)Use the phone the first time until the battery dies,
2)Do a full charge - 6-8hours for the first time
3)Use the phone until it dies the second time
4)recharge the battery for 3-5 hours

then your battery should be good, but now your battery needs to be changed, as it already has memory and can only be restored if completely discharged by a battery conditioner

read da manual which cms wid da battery on hw lng 2 charge it wen newly purchased. charge wen battery is cmpltly drained.smtimz it may refuse 2 chrg so get a universal charger nd alwz use it 2 crg
