1. Unlock your Android device.
2. With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer.
3. On your device, tap the "USB for..." notification.
4. Select Transfer files.
5. A file transfer window will open on your computer. Use it to drag files.
6. When you're done, eject your device from Windows.
7. Unplug the USB cable.

Using Google Photos

1. 1 . If it isn't, tap the switch to turn on backup for your photos. This will ensure that your Android's photos are uploaded to Google Photos.

    Select your Android's photos. Click and drag your mouse across the photos you want to move onto your computer to select them. You can also hold down the ? Command key while clicking individual photos to select them independently.

    Click Edit. This menu item is in the upper-left side of your Mac's screen. A drop-down menu will appear.

    Click Copy. It's near the top of the Edit menu. This will copy your selected photos.
    • If you want to remove the files from your Android while transferring them to your Mac, click Cut here instead.

    Open Finder. Click the blue, face-like app in your Mac's Dock. A new window will open.

    Select a save location. Click a folder (e.g., All My Files) on the left side of the Finder window to select it as your photos' destination.

    • If you selected the Cut option instead of Copy, this will also remove the photos from your Android.

Connect both drives to the computer at the same time. If you don't have enough USB ports, connect one to a USB port and the other to a Firewire port. Open a file management window (Explorer in Window, Finder in Mac OS) for each drive. Click and hold the left mouse button (only mouse button on most Mac models in the window for the 80 Gig drive and drag across several folders/files to select them. Release the mouse button, then click on and drag the selected group to the new drive window. When this copy operation is done, repeat with another group of files.

You could select (-A or -A) and drag everything on the old drive at one time, but sometimes the system will bog down on copying large amounts of data (greater than 4-8 GB at a time).

Mac OS 9.2

• Press the Eject key on Apple Pro Keyboard
• To open the second optical drive on a Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors) computer, press Option-Eject on the Apple Pro Keyboard.
• Open the Eject application found in the Eject Extras folder. The Eject Extras folder is located in the Apple Extras folder on the CD.
• Click the iTunes eject button (see Figure 1).
• Hold down the mouse button when you hear the startup sound as the computer restarts.
• Start up from Mac OS X and customize the toolbar with an eject button.

• In the Finder, Choose View > Customize Toolbar. In the window that appears, drag the Eject button to the toolbar, then click Done. Select the disc you want to eject in the Finder window, then click the Eject button in the toolbar.
• Press the Eject key on the Apple Pro Keyboard.
• To open the second optical drive on a Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors) computer, press Option-Eject on the Apple Pro Keyboard.
• If you have a keyboard without an eject key, press F12 (under Mac OS X 10.1 and later). Note: You must press the F12 key longer to prevent the tray from accidentally opening.
• Click the eject button in iTunes (illustrated in Figure 1).
• Hold down the mouse button when you hear the startup sound as the computer restarts.
• Start up from Mac OS 9.2 and follow the options in the section above.
