If you are trying to use any type of universal remote it will not work. A freind of mine gave me a dynex dvd player,Where they lost the remote for it, I have 5 different brands of universal remotes ,End could not get them to work on the dynex dvd (player) I have fround all the off (Brand) Vidio End audio (Equipment) Will not work with a universal remote, I hate to stay.Most of the off brand equipment will only work with there own (Remote)

Google for it by model numbers but I doubt you will find one that works.

Will not find a code for the DVD player though. Im not sure which model you have, but Dynex will send you to MCM Electronics for original replacement parts, that is their provider. Check out www.mcmelectronics.com or give them a call at 888-235-4692 to see if they have your remote. Remotes for the models DX-DVD2 and DX-UPDVD2 are both listed for $4.99 plus shipping.

i do not think it would work with your tv. there has been problems when tech installed uverse on dozens of tv. you can try to purchase an universal remote and see if that works. it is just like a jvc vcr/dvd player/recorder which will not work with any tv but jvc. you can also call att tech to help

Yes you have to use the recommended Uverse codes, and follow the directions to enter the code. Hold the tv button down, on the Uverse remote, then with it stil held down add the OK button, let go of both, then you will see the lights at the top of Uverse remote light up, it is then ready to accept the code, it will be a four digit code, Go to [email protected], and look under TV, then programming the remote is there. Put remote Code in the att search box if you can't find it.
