For some reason my Xerox Docuprint C20 is not quite printing a full A3 sized page, (It leaves 24mm unprinted from the edge), although itIt looks fine in the print preview. Help me please!!
Make sure the machine and the driver are set for A3 . Most likely the paper tray, or setting in the menu are not correct.
Or the driver paper size is not correct.
Oh ok, I misunderstood.
Its only cutting the side off of A3?? That sounds like a guide is not setting up properly.
What you can try it shifting the side guides on the paper tray and shifting the paper to one side or another.
See if it works then, If so you may have to loosten thing up on the guides and shift that. Sometimes the gear teath in those tracks jump a tooth and throw things off in the side to side direction.
You may need to go online @ xerox.com and download and reload the software and install it on your printer.
One other setting that may be off. In one of the menus there is an adjustment called Localization. it will be on the printer in one of the menus. Have to hunt around. Since you are using A3 paper, make sure that setting is set to MM and not inch and make sure your country code is proper, if the setting is US, then you may have to change that to print edge to edge.
Just some additional thoughts.
Like I said, if it prints edge to edge on other papers, this is a software, or tray guide issue and not a drum, toner cartridge issue.
Therein is your problem. The inch setting is cutting off your print. That is the problem. It is cutting off the print at the inch length and causing your deletion.
I just looked and Xerox no longer supports that product in any way.
No, sorry, the driver was not what I was refering to, I was refering to the printer software itself, which there is none available on the website.
I wish I could tell you exactly where that setting is. You may look for country code, localization, or just have to go through all adjustments until you click on the one that says MM or inch.
I wish I could offer you more, but thats all I can find.
But your settting of inch instead of MM is definitly where the problem lies.

Hi Tryit,
Thanks for your offer of help!
The printer settings are definately set at A3. When you say 'set the driver to A3', do you mean in the printer's properties and preferences? I have gone through all possible settings withing the application I am using, (I have also tried other applications), and the settings of the printer itself.
I am thinking it may have something to do with the calibration as it is printing nearly all of an A3 page, but just cutting of a small section down one side.
Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
Regards, Amz
Thanks again for your advise. I do have a couple of additonal questions if that is ok? Do you think moving the side guides will help when it is the end of the printing page that is being cut off, not the sides?
I did not manage to find the 'localisation' setting, is this in 'printer preferences'?
When you said to download software from xerox.com, do you mean to re-install the printer driver, or is there other software?
The units on the printer are in inches, instead of mm, so I have been trying to find where I can change this on my printer menu, (as well as my country code). When looking at the menu options in my printer manual, I noticed that there are a number of options only available if a hard disk is installed. This inlcudes options such as 'job buffering size' and 'Acct Limit'. I noticed in my printer properties that a hard disk is not installed. Do you think this could be the problem?
Thanks again,
amz
