Post Region code hack posted by ravikalyan_143, September 07 2016: 1. Make sure the DVD player has no disc in it and is powered off 2. Press 12345 on the ...
unfortunately the player is as its supposed to be this is not a fault and there is no upgrade, it plays only the region its meant to play. That palm hack was for another model and most likely will not work with your player.
the omniremote is a program for the palm.
I'm not aware of any hack for this specific model at this time and I think its very unlikely that anyone here would create that upgrade for you, as a tech would have to purchase the player, spend 1-3 days with it to come up with a modification, all that for 4 dollar reward is simply not worth the effort.
An option.
Download DVD fab or another like product which takes off the region code completely using a PC then copy the DVD onto another DVD using the DVD burner,or find someone who can do this for you.
try this: Multi-Region: • Turn On the unit with the remote controller • Wait until "no disc" appears in the unit's display • Press Pause, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 • The word "CODE" should appear in the display • Within five seconds, press the key that corresponds to the zone you want i.e. 0 for region free, 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2 and so on • Again, within 5 seconds, press Pause and Power hope it helps!
1. Switch on the player 2; open the CD compartment 3. Enter the following code (using the remote): 2812 4. Highlight the region 5. Change to 9 (for Multi-region) using the 'Enter' button 6. Hit 'Clear' to exit
