My 7.5 kg Fuzzy logic will wash, then go to rinse and pump the water out, but will not spin. Also if I want the spin cycle the machine will not do it, it will however pump the water from the drum.

It doesnt turn although I could hear a pulsating sound. I also tried to spin it still it doesnt

  • Teem Apr 17, 2008

The machine washes and rinses fine, but often won't go into the last spin. It either says it's off side or clicks back to the rinse cycle. The cylinder seems loose towards the front of the machine, but haven't been able to find anything loose or anything jammed in the machine.

Place a piece of magnetic material at the edge of the lid, for the wf-s6697tc model.
Standing in front of the washer, it is slightly off centre to the right (at the edge where the lid covers, space between the wording speedy soak & fuzzy). If you pay attention to the lid, you might notice some brownish rust stain.
This is where they place the magnet.

In the centre of front edge of lid there is a magnet, if that is missing it will beep and not work, I took a small magnet from my sons toy and attached it on the lid with a cello tape

  • Anonymous Nov 07, 2011

And it worked, toy magnets are commonly available

There is no sensor around the lid. I opened up the whole top part of the machine and still couldn't find any sensors. Where exactly is it? Could anyone take a photo? Thanks a million!

It could be the sensor that detects that the lid is closed during every cycle.try hitting the lid when it stops it might work

You can open the lid and find the pin that hits the switch, try pushing it with a pen or something, if this works you can either replace the pin or try jamming it down with something, i have cardboard in mine to keep it switched, thinking the lid is closed. It may also be something to do with the timer, you can try advancing it slightly to engage the next wash/spin cycle.

LG Fuzzy Logic 5.5 kgs top loader washing machine.

Question edited for clarity, add maker.

They are a funny little machine. The disc in the bottom is the agitator. My first thought was that you weren't locking the lid down properly, but if it spins, you are. Unfortunately, it sounds broken.

Hi, I have Lg fuzzy logic washing machine (wft90b3) ever since we got this machine I haven seen this wierd behavior the machine never spinning fully 360degree when it is washing clothes, the basmet just...

That's is how they are designed. They just tumble clothes thru minimum amount of water. That's how they are low water use and high efficiency. They rinse the same way. Then they fully spin on spin mode. So your machine is working properly as designed.

LG Top load fuzzy logic washing machine only washes small loads

Please check if the drive belt to the main motor to the agitator is slipping or is loose. It is also possible that the agitator is jammed and so could have friction so that the belt slips.
