This sounds like you have a faulty talkback cable. You probably either need to purchase a new one or talk to turtle beach support about getting a new one sent out.

How do I get rid of the static sound in my 4PR908?

There causes varies from types of headset to another. In respect of a wireless headset, the static sound is caused by interference. Whereas in a cord headset, a loose wire somewhere in your headset or cord is responsible for the static sound or crackle. It might also emanate from the mic in respect of a one calling, or from the ear-piece.

The solution with a wireless headset is to move away from any device e.g computer which might have cause the static sound. Resetting the wireless headset is also a solution measure.

In the case of a cord headset; Get the cord wiggled at the plug and at the headset; and then move the mic to locate the loose connection. Where the problem occurs, loop the wire, taping it down at the point. soldering the affected wire is best than taping.

Finally, if the static sound persist;which it should not after all the treatments; check on the volume of the device. Reduction of the device volume can go a long way to bringing the longed solution. Similar problem occured with my headset;and was solved via the same recommended possibility.

I cant hear game sound on my x31

Did you "pair" the headset with the transmitter? The X31 transmitter has an LED on the front. It should be glowing steady on. If it's slowly fading in and out, that means you need to pair the headset with the transmitter.
Directions for how to pair the X31 are in the User Guide: http://turtlebeach.com/Portals/0/images/Products/EF_X31/X31_Manual_web.pdf
If you know the headset is paired but you still don't get sound, try connecting the red/white RCA plugs to the Audio Out jacks on a DVD or CD player, and test your X31 that way. If it makes sound from your DVD or CD player but not from your Xbox, then you know it's an Xbox configuration problem of some kind (in other words, you know the headset works).
I hope that helps.

Clicking/Static Noises

If you unplug the chat-controller cable from your headset and controller, does the click/static noise go away? If yes, then you need a new chat-controller cable. Email [email protected] for that. ------- If the noise remains even after you've disconnected the chat cable, then the problem is likely due to the presence of too many other Radio Frequency wireless devices competing with the X31 transmit/receive, especially if you have an 802.11n ("N") router made before Oct 2009. If that's the case, you should definitely contact Turtle Beach at [email protected] and ask them for help with this.

I am using Turtle Beach wireleass ear force headphones and my friends hear echoes when i use my headphones

Which wireless headset do you have?
X3 X31 X4 X41
If it is the X31 or X41 you must push the controller cable in until it snaps into place. (Both the headset and controller). If you don't do this, it can cause the mic to malfunction.

My turtle beach has static like noies when i plug it in to my controler

THis problem is usually caused by an older controller because the jacks are loose and don't make a good connection with the talkback cable. Try a new controller to see if the problem is fixed. Also, try cleaning the connections on the talkback cable with some alcohol to remove any corrosion on the metal.

Headset static

Can you explain in more detail? I am not understanding what you mean by "the cord". We are talking about the Plantronics CS70 Wireless Office Headset System correct?

If we are talking about the same system, was it new when you got/bought it? If it was new try contacting Plantronics (yes, I do know it's August now but you can still try) to get it exchanged/repaired under warranty. That being said, I am not sure how long the warranty is or if you even have a receipt. If you don't have a receipt but know that it was purchased at Best Buy, Circuit City or another electronics store that keeps the receipts then get all the information together (date of purchase, purchasers name & phone number, etc) and visit the store to see if they can give you a copy of the receipt to forward to Plantronics.

I used to work at a Best Buy (Store 817 in Paducah, KY) on the Geek Squad. I have helped customers find their receipt and also have seen the Customer Service Reps in the store find the receipt if I can't. They have access to more information on you/your purchase than you could ever imagine and it will be extremely helpful in this quest.

I know I typed an essay but I hope it helps you resolve your issues.

Thanks,

NkryptD
