If your PS2 has HDMI output that would be the best connection you can make, it will carry both video, synch and audio seperately in one cable bundle.

Next best for video S video, which stands for Super video it carries video and sync seperately, you will have connect audio seperately with RCA type connectors -red and black.
Composite video is the last, it carries video and sync signals as a composite on one cable, the TV seperates the video and sync signals internally. Again you will have to coonect aodio seperately.

What is the best converter box to use with toshiba regza 42hl67 flat screen tv?

As far as I can make out, this Toshiba model is made for the US market so doesn't actually have a freeview tuner. It will only receive satellite and cable HD signals and local US TV, all of which has to be bought. You need to get something like an August DVB400 - HD Freeview Set Top Box -Digital PVR Tuner with USB TV Recording, eBay would be best I think, where they are sold for under £30.00. The tuner packed up on my 32" Regza so I bought one of these and it works fine. Plus you can record to a USB stick if you don't want to miss a programme. Hope this helps ......BS

Video problem

First thing to do is see if this happens when watching a DVD or something connected via the audio and video jacks---My best guess aside from that is the main board that processes all signal and controls the picture on the panel.

TV Surround System

Sadly enough RadioShack is slowly becoming extinct, but they were the best! P{rovided both components have standard audio/video cables witht he red yellow and white tips you would have to find the audio and line OUT on the video recorder and plug them in to an AUDIO and LINE IN port on the subwoofer and speakers.

If the speakers have serious connections like guitar amp plugin type, then you would simply need a converter wire that is perhaps the standard audio cable on one end and the type you need on the other and THUS - RADIO SHACK!! Love that place. Otherwise if I'm way off, a stereo receiver can be a mediator for the two devices but similar cables will be needed.

Cant get dtv on my toshiba regza

Does it work with a DVD or VCR?
How is it connected? With a Coax cable or a an RCA component cable? Check that the correct video source is selected (The one associated with the input you are connected with) or that you are tuned to the correct channel on the TV if you are using the coaxial cable to connect. Could be channel 3 or 4 but I have seen them set for channels like 73.

No Video for my cable tv. Audio works

You have the TV connected to the cable box with an HDMI cable, I'll bet. The problem is with the cable box. If you unplug the cable box and plug it back it it will reboot and proabably work. You should connect the cable box to the TV using component cables and you won't have this problem again.
