The Ipod is stereo and your speaker is not, so don't expect stereo.

Find a 1/8 inch stereo cable that splits the two channels into individual cables and enter those into two channels of the 1202 mixer. You might find a cable that goes from the 1/8 inch stereo and splits to two RCA type jacks which you have to either find RCA inpouts on your mixer or get two RCA to 1/4 inch adapters.

Crank the pan controls clear to the left on those two channels. Run a cable from the 1202 left main out to your speaker input.

Adjust the controls as needed.

What causes buzzing in speakers?

There are many causes of buzz, so it should be checked step by step :
- Bad connection on the input connector, or cord.
- Amplifier, basically have the block diagram like this:
25850676-l1qpqmriditabltrjczr2eku-5-0.jpg If in one block damage, buzz can be heard. In the amplifier.
Generally occurs in the PSU and / or power amplifiers.
Fix it to the experts, because it requires a good knowledge of electronics.
Blown speaker cone, does not cause a buzz.
Short circuit along the wires supplying the audio, it will not cause any sound in the speakers, including the sound of music.
Try also, disconnect the input connector, whether the buzz is still audible. If after the input connector is removed, the buzz disappears, the possibility of buzz came from another device before the amplifier.

How do i connect a monitor to the 1202FX mixer

Hi, you can use the Control Room outputs to give you an additional output with it's own level control but of you want a separate "mix" rather that overall level you could try the FX send & use the FX controls per channel to set the mix - depends how / if you are using the FX of course! - Else upgrade to a mixer with 2 Aux sends - use one for FX & the other for monitor :-) e.g. some of the Alesis do this! 'Good Luck!

I bought a Xenyx 1202fx roughly 9 months ago. I plugged it in following the instructions of desk to pack first, then pack to mains, but the LED display didn't show. I've heard that there's no...

If the blue power light does not light up then there is a problem with the unit or power supply. As it is less than a year from purchase I would advise returning it to the shop.

I want to order a new volume pot for my Eurolive B215A powered speaker directly from Behringer, then fit it myself. Who do I contact to order the part?

Lots of luck. Behringer no longer sells direct. Fullcompass.com is their parts distributor. If they don't have it in stock, it takes months... I have had an order in for 6 months now. The procedure is you call Behringer at 1-425-672-0816 to get a part number and an incident type number. Then call Fullcompass and order the part at 1-800-356-5844 and tell them you need Behringer part. IF they have it in stock, then you are lucky.

I have a Behringer 1202fx and I'm going to use it with a pair of Harbinger APS15. The line inputs on the APS15 are unballanced R&L RCA and XLR. The Behringer 1202fx mains are 1/4" unballanced...

Personally I would run the RCA outputs to the RCA in on the APS.
If you insist on using XLR from the APS to the board (like through a snake etc) I would higly recommend using XLR to 1/4" adapters. These things have wonderful little transformers in them (yes, wire wound transformers) that do the 1/4" to XLR conversion really nicely so that you can run your signal through the snake or just so that you don't get the hum and distortion that can be associated with unbalanced signal transfer.
You want a HI-Z unbalanced to LO-Z balanced adapter.
Not always easy to find, but if you absolutely cannot locate any, I have a couple in stock.
I suggest you look around though, because mine aren't cheap!

Can't get any gain without feedback when using my new shure sm81 mic and the xenyx x1240usb fx mixer. keep the speaker way out in front of me. no montiors. using just a hair of reverb and compression. have...

This is a STUDIO mic and CANNOT be used in the presence of speakers that are driven from its output.

There is special hardware processors to cancel feedback but you do NOT want to go there !!!

This condenser mic is to be used in a studio where performers wear earphones and NO monitors are present.

You should use a Shure SM58 or other CLOSE talking cardoids if you have speakers in the area.
