Usually, when you SD card is full, when it is small in size like 1GB or less, or it is not inserted into your camera, the you have this kind of message. Reformatting of the memory card of you camera should be done using your camera. the best of all is to erase everything on the card and then check the space available on it. then it will be recognised by the camera as an external memory card.
If the memory card worked before with your phone, then suddenly became unrecognized, then the memory card probably got corrupted.
The best thing that you may try is to insert the card to another phone and connect it to a different computer. There are times that another computer recognizes the card with this kind of problem.
If a different computer recognizes your card, immediately back-up the files, then reformat your memory card. However, if the same problem occur on different computer, then there's nothing that we could do but to reformat it.
Whether you reformat it or not, you could no longer recover the files if it's still unrecognized.
you can try to another memory for that since you already tried to reformat the cellphone...or also you can try to reformat the memory card by going to memory card icon then choose option to format memory card
take out the memory card and put it in a card reader And reformat the card from comand promt that should fix it.
TYPE ON RUN CMD an black screen type:
FORMAT /F C:
THE C: IS THE LETER OF YOUR HARD DISK BUT INSTEAD OF C: PUT THE LETER OF YOUR CARD COULD BE E: F: AND SO ON.IF THAT DOES NOT FIX IT TRY ON THE COPMUTER MANAGEMENT, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND IS OK NOW .
A card access error may indicate that an xD-Picture Card memory card is in a write-protected condition. xD-Picture Card memory cards have a special protection feature to ensure that your pictures are kept safe.
NOTE:
During this condition, you can still use the printer for printing and saving photos from the xD-Picture Card to a secure location, such as the computer hard drive.
To resolve this error, try the following:
Reinsert the xD-Picture Card memory card into your camera and turn on the camera. In most cases, the camera automatically makes the necessary changes.
Reformat the xD-Picture Card memory card. See the documentation that came with your camera for instructions on reformatting the memory card. Note that this process erases the pictures currently saved to your memory card. To save these pictures, transfer them to the computer before reformatting the memory card. Once you reformat the memory card, transfer those photos back to the memory card using the computer.
