MOTOROLA V220 BOOTLOADER PROBLEM

I HAVE A MOTOROLA V22O PHONE WHICH HAS A BOOTLAODER
PROBLEM. MY PHONE ONLY SHOW BOOTLOADER FAULT ON THE
SCREEN AND NOTING ELSE.PLEASE HELP.

This is the programing mode where the software was originally loaded. Try to remove the battery while the phone is turned on. Sometimes this will reload and allow the phone to work normally. If not contact motorola for warranty info.

get a TORX 6 screwdriver

take it apart
Google for V220 take apart/ disassembly

WIggle the tiny flex cable connector
near the hinge.. still no luck ????

Buy another V220 on ebay

gently take the phone apart and sub in the whole
screen shell and front of keypad.

DO NOT TRY TO remove the screen from the body section..
you will destroy to the teeny tiny flex cable.

Screen wont work
If you have a dead screen: You must Disconnect the ribbon cable between main case and LCD screen. be carefull lifting the connector and put it back in place. To reach the ribbon cable, you have to disassembly the phone. Google search with 'Motorola V220 Full Housing Installation' for a detailed procedure with pictures. attention: It may void any waranty!!
