After installing Norton's Utilities my Rosetta Stone would not work. I tried to uninstall Rosetta and reinstall, but to no avail, but after uninstalling Norton's Utilities, Rosetta worked again. What can do to have both programs work?

Well the problem is that Norton normaly avoid other programs to work on your computer so it won't allow the competitor on your PC. so its upto you to go with it or to skip to alternate.

Rosetta stone windows 7 fatal error 1141

To fix this problem i would suggest to uninstall this software and scan PC with PC optimizer like Reginout to fix windows internal errors and corrupt registry entries.
Re-install the Rosetta stone. Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall before installing Rosetta Stone.

Loaded Start disc. When installing my language disc 1, I get an 9123 error code and a message " there was an error in the application". I cannot uninstall, because I get messages "...

Version 3/4: Error 9123 during Language CD installation

This error message relates to Version 3 and Version4. If you receive a 9123 error message during language installation, try one of the following resolutions:
  • Clean the disc with alcohol/windex/water and a soft cloth and try installing again.
  • Disable your internet security program, especially Norton or Symantec Security and try installing again.
If you are still experiencing this error, please contact Rosetta Stone Support

Getting message: Minor error 1007 when running Rosetta Stone Version 3 Personal Edition on Vista. The program runs but gets stuck changing pages.

Uninstall, reboot the computer, reinstall. If the problem persists I would contact Rosetta Stone's technical support hotline, they're very helpful!

Rosetta Stone Starts but the home screen in blank

Sounds like you saved your progress file in a non Rosetta Stone folder and now it can't associate the progress with any language packs.

Error 2123 appears when loading rosetta stone

I started getting "Error 2123" recently, and spent A LOT of time searching for the fix. Here is what finally worked:

Find the hidden file "tracking.db3". It's in the hidden folder "ProgramData/Rosetta Stone" under the "C:" directory. Copy and paste it to the Rosetta Stone install directory (Program Files/Rosetta Stone).

Error 2123 should be gone, but now there will be Error 2125. So, in the Rosetta Stone install directory, run the "service_installer" .exe file by double-clicking it.

I accidentally moved my Rosetta Stone file to the trash and emptied it in an attempt to uninstall. However, when I went to re-install they said I can't because there's a newer version already installed....

open the trash folder, select the rosetta stone file(s) and click restore. You may need to select a unique directory to install the files to avoid conflict with the other version.

I have Japanese levels 1,2 and 3 for rosetta stone. i installed all the software and entered the activation code. it says my codes are activated but when i open the software i only get a blank screen with...

The problem is related to the FNPLicensingService.exe service and FNInterface.dll file.

The first thing you can try is open Rosetta Stoneto and kill the FNPLicensingService.exe in task manager. This may or may not give you access to Rosetta Stone.

If that doesn't work, install Rosetta Stone on another computer (your license will allow two machines) then copy the rosetta stone directory from program files to the new system. Then open Rosetta Stone and it should be fine.

Before doing either of these things it's best to delete the c:\program data\rosetta stone\tracking.id file.
