Usually the number of copies of a certain print job is handled by the software.

Example: You have written a one page letter using WordPad. You would like the C4680 to print 2 copies of this letter:

1) On the menu, click "File"

2) Choose "Print..."

3) On the page that follows, change the number of copies to 2. There are other options you may choose at this time, if desired.

4) Click Print

The unit should start printing 2 copies of your letter.

Hp photosmart c4680

The HP C4680 is a powerful all-in-one printer that combines an easy interface and connection process with powerful printing capability.
With a small time investment and minimal effort, even the least tech-savvy home user among us can have their HP C4680 up and running in no time, and take full advantage of all of its printing power.

Connect the AC adapter from the AC terminal on the upper right-hand side of the back panel of the printer to an electrical outlet or surge protector.
Power on the printer using the power button on the front panel of the printer and specify language and country preferences using the prompt on the main display of the printer.

Remove the pink tape from the print heads on the provided ink cartridges.
The tape should come off easily with gentle pressure.

Install the cartridges by opening the main door on the front of the printer and placing the cartridges into the cartridge cradles.
The HP logo should be facing up. Push the cartridge into the cradle until it clicks into place.

Attach the USB cable from the printer's USB port to a USB port on your computer and power on the printer.
Install the setup CD that came with the printer into your computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the steps for installing the printer software on your computer.
Your HP C4680 is now set up and ready to use.

I have an HP C4680..After a paperjam I am unable to print black and white. Copy comes out a very light green, almost unreadalbe...any suggenstions

Sometimes the Paperjam can cause the print heads to mis-align. Pull out the cartridges, turn the printer off. wait 2 mins or so, turn the printer back on, replace the cartridges and try again. Also ink can build up on the print heads, causing print quality issues. See this link to clear it up. http://www.fixya.com/support/r3986425-unblock_print_heads

I purchased a HP Photosmart C4680 printer a few months ago and after installing it, it was great. I then had problems accessing the internet and after solving that issue with my provider, I was no longer...

Most probably your the printer got disconnected once you made changes in the network settings. Heres what I can suggest...
Uninstall the printer
For win xp: Click on start go to control panel > add/remove programs.
For win vista: Click on start go to control panel > programs and feature > uninstall a program
For win 7: Click on start go to control panel > uninstall a program
  1. Look for the HP Photosmart c4680 driver, then click on uninstall/change/remove.
  2. Another window will pop up, it will ask what do you want to uninstall.
  3. Click on uninstall all HP products associated with this device.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Install the printer using USB, when you got in to the page that says "I have reviewed and agreed the terms and agreement" theirs a link at the top left corner that says "select what to install"
  6. Click on that that link, then the only software that you will install is HP Photosmart c4680, Digital Imaging device function and HP solution center, then the others you have to uncheck it.
  7. Check the check box that says "I have reviewed and agreed the terms and agreement"
  8. Click on next.
  9. After installing it, re-run the disc or the downloaded driver.
  10. Click on add a device
  11. It will ask you what type of connection do you want, click on install wireless/network device
  12. The printer should be detected now.
If you are still having issues w/ it. click here for the next step.
Good luck! :)

HP Photosmart C6350 prints more copies then asked for

How do I turn off the ink level system on my HP all in one C6350 printer?

HP Photosmart C3180 prints a solid black line left side of paper ONLY when you COPY. When you print from computer, it prints just fine. It is only from COPY mode that the solid black line appears.Already...

Unfortunately, your C3180 printer needs some repairs done to it or you . A section of the printing arm that does the printing is faulty. This happened to me and apart from replacing the arm (at considerable cost) I purchased a new printer at a much cheaper cost. You can use your faulty printer for printing from the computer but not for copying or scanning. MG
