Question about Coleman Powermate Powermate 5000W Generator
Check the capacitor 130uF/200v (back side of generator) if it dry, change it for one of same type. Check brushes. You must to do a short circuit on the output 220v, yes you must to short circuit for a realy quick time. This will make the inductance process works again. Sorry by my bad English.

There can be many reasons. need more info:
Is it Inverter typr generator?
measure output voltage - anything?
take back cover off generator itself, measure continuity of stator and rotor, and visually inspect windings. You'll find AVR module there too, it may be the reason.
