My Maytag Neptune won't stay running. It did not finish a wash cycle and when I try to restart it on a new cycle, the water comes on along with the ''ON'' light for about 3 seconds and then stops. Same thing on every other setting. Light comes on then off and water stops. When I try to use spin cycle, water starts to drain and then stops. drum never moves. How do I troubleshoot this? I have read about error codes but where do I find these? My unit is a MAH3000WW Series 31 with no display. Help!

Error codes appear when there are problems with the door, the inflow and drainage of water and the motor.
Do Your Maytag Neptune washer displays the "do" help code when the washing machine is trying to start a cycle, but the door is open or not locked properly. If this message is displayed, close the door securely and restart the washing cycle.
FL The "FL" code indicates that the washing machine was unable to lock the door after you closed it. Open and close the door tightly, then restart the washing cycle.
Sd The "Sd" code indicates that you have added too much detergent to the washing machine and your laundry has too many suds. The machine will stop displaying this code if it has successfully run the suds recovery cycle, which removes the excess suds from the wash load. If the code remains, reduce the amount of detergent in the load. Use less detergent for similar loads of laundry in the future.
PF The "PF" code indicates that a power failure has occurred. Restart the wash cycle. If the code still appears, check that the washing machine is still plugged in to the electrical outlet.
Nd The "nd" code indicates that your Maytag Neptune is not draining as it should. Check that the drain hose isn't kinked and that the stand pipe isn't clogged. If you find either of these problems, fix them before restarting the washing cycle.
LO The "LO" code appears when the washing machine has finished the selected wash cycle, but cannot unlock the door. Verify that the door is closed properly, push the "Off" button, and wait two minutes. The door should unlock and the error code will disappear. If the error code remains, unplug the washing machine, wait two minutes and plug it back into the electrical outlet.
Lr The "Lr" code indicates that the washing machine's motor is not running as it should. Have your Maytag Neptune washing machine serviced by a certified Maytag repair professional. Maytag Neptune Priority One Service: (888) 462-9824

if you do not see water in the tube and the clothes have spun out enough to go into the dryer when the washer cycle finishes the washer has drained out all of the water the water you hear in the tub when the door is open and you spin the tub with your hand that liquid is in the sealed balance ring , that is a sealed channel around the front of the tub to help the machine stay balanced it does not come out
pump is probably clogged not allowing all water to drain out. Should never see water in the tub at the end of a cycle. About once a month you should run your washer through a cycle with hot water and bleach. Doing that should keep the moldy smell down.
electriic inlet valve is obstructed, try removing cold water hose direct the hose into a bucket and fill the tub on the warm setting (flushing the cold valve) then try the washer again ..If that doesn't work a new valve is needed
you have a door latch problem. the reason you can still push on the button is because this particular washer has a time delay function. i would recommend taking a look at the latch itself and possibly the wax motor that runs the latch.
