My fisher and paykel top loader washing machine(model No GW711) just keeps a constant red and green light going with beeps. the machine will not start, even turning on and off at power point this keeps happening. help me!!1

sounds like an electronic problem. motor controller most likely. I am unsure off hand what this fault (7) means, but the number is very low, which normally indicates motor control board

Replace the water inlet valve. That will fix the problem. No need to replace anything else.

Of the 8 wash progress lights, tell me witch are on,

David, exactly what combination of lights come on, top row. There are 8 leds 5 green, 2 orange, 1 red. Show the code with an X for led on & 0 for light off. EG:
0000X00X
This will indicate F9, sizing issue. (Code is actually read Right - L)
Also is model # GW711 What is product code. Both available on back panel or behind control panel.

Fisher & Paykel GW608U Top loader washing mashine. On power up it will pass the self test, but then it goes to error (single beep every second and lights: green 3rd, 4th green and 7th orange from left are on). It doesnt have one, try the following- use high quality detergent- like tide. Do a full wash with nothing in it every now and then, separate lights and darks and towels/fluffy stuff from synthetics, use a less rigorous wash- like wool or permanent press. If none of that works, ring up the manufacturer and complain

i have the problem when i turn power on 2 green wash cycle lights plus the red lid lock stay on with constant beeping every second then when i push the start button the 2 green lights go out and the red lid lock light stays on but no beeps please help

you probably have a foreign object in the pump impellor - the favourite is bits of bra wire
