Once you take the shield assembly off, you will see a board, I believe it is the DM Board board. There are four Capacitors grouped together probably rated at 35v 1000 mfd, 105 degree. They should be replaced with 35v 680mfd,105 degree Capacitors. Now once that is done, there is another board under that one. This is the Format Board. It also has 4 Capacitors that should also be replaced. They are the same value as the first Board and should be replaced with the same 35v 680mfd, 105 degree Capacitors.
Please note the Flex connectors at the bottom of the DM and Format Boards. They may not be available from Mitsubishi any more so be gentle with them and make sure the are installed properly when reinstalling the Boards back into the chassis. There is one other Board you should look at. The Power Supply Board is the board on the back of the chassis and also has a number of Capacitors that fail. Most all of the Capacitors that fail through out this chassis will have bulging tops. So any you see bulging, you should replace whether they are on the DM, Format , or Power Supply.
I hope this helps,

Green blinking timer light on my WD 62525 tv

That symptom is almost always caused by bad capacitors that are known to fail through ou the five circuits boards within the chassis. Usually the DM board and The Power Board caps fail which can cause the non stop blinking timer led. You can get the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps with repair instructions that will often repair that issue.

Mitsubishi WS-65511 has flashing timer light but will not turn on.

I used to have a WS55909 and had this problem. The light is supposed to blink for one minute while the DM (digital module) boots up after a power loss. If the light continues to blink indefinitely, there is a problem with that board. The DM power supplies are known to have faulty capacitors on these models and will need to be replaced. If I remember correctly, there are (7) 1000uf 25v capacitors and they should be desoldered from the board and replaced with 35v ones. Note that my TV model already had 35v caps but changing them solved the problem: electrolytic capacitors have a much shorter life than other components.
The DM is on the left side and is where ANT-DTV and the IR repeaters plug in. The power supply is the board above the main DM board inside the DM case.
If this sounds too technical for you, get a new TV because a repair guy will charge you more than the TV is worth. In other words you could get a (30-46") LCD TV for the same price.

Blinking "Timer" light for WD-62725

If this is a DLP, you may have problems on the FMT/DM boards in the sealed electrical chassis.

That's a big problem, because Mits doesn't make the DM/FMT boards available anymore. They are only available for rebuild from Mitsubishi and other qualified places.

There is a chance that there are some vented capacitors on the DM and FMT boards you might be able to replace, but it's for someone really comfortable with completely disassembling a set, soldering in 8 new caps and rebuilding the chassis.

Rebuilds will run you $400-$500 in rebuild costs and an additional $200-$400 in labor, depending on the joint.
