Whirlpool Duet Sport washing machine with a leaking door.

I have a Whirlpool Duet Sport washing machine that is approximately two years old. Yesterday my wife said it was leaking from the door. She then saw that a sock wasn't in all the way. She canceled the wash, removed the sock, then restarted the wash cycle. However, it is still leaking. I checked and there are no rips in the seal. Any ideas?

Whirlpool duet washer leaks but not every load

Pull the kick panel under the door and when it leaks, you will be able to tell where from. Hopefully not the tub.

My whirlpool duet sport washer is leaking in the front underneath, not from the door. Does not do it when it drains. What do I do?

Hello Casey,
Its possible that the washer could be leaking from the door seal yet ya don't see it coming from the door. The way to check if its the door seal remove the lower panel and see if the concrete counterweight that's on the front of the drum...if ya see water dripping from that counterweight, its from the door seal.
If the door seal is not leaking ya would need to look at the pump and hoses on the tub while it was in wash mode to see whats leaking.

I tried to start a load and an F-1 code flashes. I have a Duet Sport front load washer (2 years old).

Go to the Whirlpool webside and download a manual for free. They are good folks.

Whirlpool Duet Sport ~ E28 Error Code

serial communication error between central control and motor control.
Check connections at ccu (top front right corner) and mcu (bottom by motor), check belt drive for wear.
Did motor run ? Any other codes in diagnostic? (any one modifier button 4 sec on 4 secs off 5 times.) F codes are failures and C codes are portions of test cycle(automaticly run)
