Hoover Steamvac Model C3820 Clean Solution tank leaking
I have a Hoover Steamvac Model C3820. The Clean Solution tank is leaking.. looks like the black stopper maybe broke or missing an end (I have the spring) I have looked on hoover's page for the part (unfortuanly, the parts don't have pictures) Any idea where I could get a hardware diagram, or what the hardware in the solution tank is called?

Go to Hoover.com and find a local Service Station. They will replace it at no charge. MUST be a warranty location to get it free. Take your sales slip with you.
Fill the tank and determine if the plastic is leaking, or if the valves are leaking. if the tank is cracked, it would need replaced. There is an improved design now available.
You may cycle the valves on the bottom with the eraser end of a pencil.
You didn't give your model number, but if this is a V2, you may have a crack in the tank, alot of times it is underneath the seal on the bottom. Or the plunger at the bottom of the tank is stuck open or missing.
