On/Off not lit when plugged in

I just bought these and put in batteries provided and plugged it all in but it doesn't seem to work. None of the lights on the transmitter have come on, and when I switch the headphones on, all I get is 6 beeps and static. Any help would be much appreciated...

Thank you for your response. It turns out that my transmitter was faulty (I tried the solutions you mentioned but to no avail) so I was able to return it to the retailer. Much obliged to you anyway good sir =o)

Transmitter lights on my new RS 130 set do not light when plugged into a Sony STR-DG600 transmitter that works with other headphones. I tried removing batteries while unit is unplugged, and changing channels while pressing the tuner button. I need your help. Thanks

There is help for this in the user manual. Possible solutions I would try:

1. Make sure your source sound (TV, amp etc) is up high enough - if the sound is too low the headphones won't detect a signal.

2. Try changing the channel (the switch on the bottom left of the cradle base) and pressing the "Tune" button on your headphones. Try all three positions, pressing "Tune" at least 3 times in each position.

3. Take out batteries & turn off base, leave for 30 secs, reassamble and try step 2 again.

Should all work ok. I've been using mine for over a year and they're great!

Should the red light on my 15.6v dustbuster turn green when it's fully charged? It doesn't.

I had the same issue, then i just found the manual, in charging part, it says:"The charging indicator will be lit as long as the
appliance is connected to the plugged-in
charger."
Also it says:"While charging, the charger may get warm, this is
perfectly normal and safe. It can remain on
charge indefinitely without damage or danger. It
is not possible to "overcharge" the battery cells
with the charger provided"

Put in a branbd new battery. Power adapter is OK.

Your motherboard does not need replacing provided the problem is the power socket on the motherboard.
If the power adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard.
This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. I suggest you get a quote first.

Battery seems to not charge anymore

you can contact Acer via their website and they will direct you to a local provider or they will send you a replacement.

No response

First follow procedure to try to reset the power.
  1. Unplug the ac adapter. Keep ac adapter unplugged.
  2. Remove the battery and keep the battery unplugged.
  3. Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds. (Nothing will appear on the display and none of the lights will light up.)
  4. Release the power button and plug in the ac adapter ONLY. (Please note that a power indicator light should be lit on the ac adapter when it is plugged in).
  5. Normally power on the notebook.
  6. If the unit does not power on, remove the ac adapter and insert the battery into the system.
  7. Plug the ac adapter back into the system, the battery charging indicator light will light up.
If the battery charging indicator light does not light up, the ac adapter may not be providing proper power to the unit, and may need to be replaced.

I have a problem with asus eee 901. I've just bought it. It had linux, but it was changed into windows xp. Since it had been fully charged only once I was using it on battery and setting it up with new...

Remove the battery for a couple of minutes while the unit is not plugged into the a/c adaptor. Reinstall the battery, plug the unit into the a/c adaptor, and see if it will boot up.

Not charging

It sounds like Amazon might have sold you a defective charger radio shack has a universal charger for your battery. Around 49.00 I got one and it works great I would first have you battery tested by a place like batteries plus to make sure yours is good.
