Need to set time on WalMart TGHK watch.

Hi - we bought a WalMart watch with TGHK engraved on the back. It's pink, water resistant, has stop watch features and a large face. Trouble is we lost the instruction sheet - and we don't know how to change the time to correct time. Can anyone help?

Use the Mode button to get to the time display. The seconds should be flashing. Then press the Reset button once and the Hours should flash. Use the ST/SP button to increment through the hours. When the hour is correct, press the Reset button again the get to the flashing minutes display. Go through these steps until all items are set the way you want them.

The alarm is done similarly by pressing the Mode button until the AL displayes and if in small font the ALM and/or CHI display next to the AL, you can turn them off by pressing the reset button until both are off. If you do want the Alarm and time set then leave ALM set but set the time using the reset button to get the hours flashing or minutes flashing and use the ST/SP to increment to hour/min you want. Finish the sequence by pressing the Mode button once. If the ALM or CHI are set, then in the Time display you will see the ALM and/or CHI indication next the day of the week.

If its digital that makes it more difficult to give setting directions online. Need to know the exact model #. I would do a google search to try and find your watch and you might find a manual online. OR you could seek out a local watch repair business and they should be able to set it with no problems. Most Sears have a watch repair kiosk in their stores! I woudlnt take it back to Walmart because they are just sales people! They have limited watch knowledge!

Good luck!

Citizen eco-drive wr 200 manual

I'll need more information about the watch. WR200 is not the model number. It is the depth in metres it is water resistant to.
The serial number is usually engraved on the back plate of the watch. The bit against your skin when you're wearing it. It's the number marked in red in the photo I've attached. Is this a digital watch, a watch with hands or does it have both?
Comment below with the serial number and I'll try to help you more.

I bought the water resist watch from walmart this evening it doesnt have a name brand on the watch but i think its a casio but it didnt come with the instructions on how to use it, the number on the back...

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
  • There should be four buttons: mode, reset, start and light. Find the mode button and press it three times until it is in the set time mode.
  • 2 Find the reset button, which usually is located on the bottom right side of the watch face, and hold it until the time starts blinking.
  • 3 Press the start button to change minutes.
  • 4 Press the reset button again to switch to hours. You will know it worked when the hour starts blinking instead of the minutes.
  • 5 Press the start button to change the hour. The watch can handle two modes: standard and military. As you press start, the hour will change from AM to PM, noted by an "A" or a "P" in the top right. When you get through 24 hours, the watch will change to military time and an "H" will be displayed instead of "A" or "P." Keep pressing start to go through another 24-hour cycle and it will revert back to standard time.
  • 6 Press the reset button to switch to the date, starting with the month, and press start to change it.
  • 7 Press reset one last time to switch from month to the day, and again press the start button to switch days.
  • 8 Press the mode button to finish the changes.
