I have a Viking Classica 100 and the hook just

I have a Husqvarna Viking Classica 100 sewing machine and the hook just broke, the center shaft that the bobbin case snaps on to snapped. Where can I get a replacement? Also the part that holds the hook has a small peice broken from a bent needle. Should that be replaced also?
Thanks

Yes, these parts should be replaced. Original parts are only available from an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. The service/repair is very intense and should be performed by a certified Husqvarna Viking service technician through the Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

Husqvarna Viking Classica 100 sewing machine Service Manual please?

Question edited for clarity and correct order of make model.
Question moved for Cars and Trucks category.

Unfortunately there isn't one. Owner manual only. Service agents are factory trained, and have online resources, but generally they already know their way around inside all machines.

if you don't have the accessory that looks like a short piece of rubber hose used to remove and reinstall the bulb, take the machine to an authorized Viking repair dealer and ask them to install a new bulb.

Viking husqvarna classica 100, thread tension

I suspect you are correctly threading the machine but the timing of the needle and bobbin hook is off. When the threaded needle goes into the bobbin area, a pointed hook grabs the thread and loops it with the bobbin thread. Something is catching when the needle starts to come up that is not allowing the bobbin thread to be pulled back through the needle plate opening by the upper thread. With machine threaded and bobbin in place, have the bobbin area open if possible and watch the thread interaction when the needle goes down. To set the hook/needle timing, normally covers have to be removed. Suggest taking it to an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer for service. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

How to thread my sewing machine? Husqvarna Classica 95

Suggest you contact an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. They can order you a user manual. Authorized dealers can be found at the Husqvarna Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us

Brief description of probably how to thread from looking at a picture of a Classica 90 machine which should be similar -

Thread sits on spindle on backside. Pull thread straight across to upper left backside and fit in the metal guide. It should pull easily with only a little resistance. Pull thread forward across top toward you. Let thread fall between the metal disks (doesn't matter which one if more than one) and pull thread straight down. Pull thread slightly to the left to fit under a hook of some type and back up to fit through the large hook that moves up and down when the handwheel is turned. Come straight back down to needle and thread through eye of the needle. Just above the needle should be a thread guide (sideways hooking looking metal piece), slip the thread through it to hold thread close to needle. Hope this helps. Otherwise a local authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer will be glad to help you. Good luck.
