you can not install java application because reason is simple that your phone is not supported for java!. so use default web browser on your phone.

hi, you have to coppy the jar file into the install folder on your phone and make sure the java version of your phone is compatible with java file. then install from the folder.

Same Problem

I have downloaded .jar and .jad files to my Samsung U800 but it did not run any, just said unspported file format, when I tried to open it.
Then I download the .jar direct to my cell through WAP that was also not recognized. I then Used the method of Internal and updated all the database then restarted Cell. Still there is no way out.
Kindly tell me how can I overcome this issue.

i also have same problem...!!! i've SGH D880 mobile. i need to install application. i tried copying jar and jad files to phone to install but i couldn't install. the install option is not lightened and it says "file type not supported"

It seems that you can only download games from internet. As soon as you click on java app/game file link in the browser. The Java install options appears and the app/game is installed.

I tried all ways to install games from PC to cellphone. But so far I am unsuccessful.
