Neighbor's cat got into my garage when I left the door up. He knocked into one of the sensors which now blinks red (the light on the other sensor is a constant green). Now I can open the door with the remote but I can't close it with the remote. I have to hold the wall button to close it. Can you please tell me how to re-align the sensors? Thank you.

It sounds like there might be a loose wire connection on the inside of the sensor. You could also be moving the position of the sensor slightly into alignment when you squeeze the sensor. You will need to disconnect the wires for the sensor on the garage door opener or disconnect the power. Then use a flatblade screw driver and carefully seperate the sensor case. Check for any loose connections on the wiring(you might need to re-solder the wire to the sensor eye). It sounds like a loose wire connection to me.

Slow red blink Rechargeable Batteries are low and need recharging. Fast red blink Rechargeable Device is docked in the charging station, but there is a charging error.
Reasons for errors: The wrong type of battery is installed; the battery or batteries are missing; or the battery connection is bad.

Power Problem with 2Wire 2701HG-B

Sounds like a startup self test. All wireless devices go through a power on self test. Does it connect? You can connect to it and go online? I rarely turn mine off, only in a electrical storm.

Have a Craftsman 1/2hp garage door opener (HBW0777 year 1994). It won't close and goes back while blinking 8 or 9 times. Transmitting sensor (red light) is blinking 3 times (even i hold the two sensor...

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. If the transmitting sensor light is blinking it is bad.

My door will not go down, I can't make the sensor turn green. It was working good and just stopped all at once. How do I know if I have a bad sensor or it is just out of alighnment?

you have to keep moving the sensors until the light stays on steady green not blinking. one is a sending the other is the receiver. If the lights are on steady green they should show an unbroken line of sight. I have a smiliar problem and have the sensors duct taped together with the green light on constantly and it still won't go down. but firts try and get the green lights to stay on...hope this helps don

Green light blinks - never goes steady

Sounds like the machine thinks it is overheating. It may be actually over heating or It might just be a bad temp sensor. It can also be the Power Control Board if not the temp sensor.
