I have the instruction manual for OT10 Twin Set cordless phone. Is there anything in particular you want to know.

Basically you need to re-register the handsets and you need to designate a number to each handset. If you put a small round sticker or star on your No.1 handset then you won't get them confused if you ever put them down together on a table (like we do frequently). OK here goes>>:
RE-REGISTER A HANDSET
You can also follow this procedure to re-register a handset to your base (multi-pack phones come pre-registered).Press and hold "Find Handset", until the Use light on the base flashes quickly.
Press and hold "R" until you hear 2 short beeps.
Enter the 4-digit PIN code using the keypad. (Default code 0000)
If you register successfully, you will hear two continuous beeps. If failed you will hear a long beep. If you hear the error tone, you will need to repeat the registration process.

1. In standby mode, press "Redial".
2. Press a number key from 1 to 5 to select a melody.

2. Use the keypad to enter the number (from 1 to 5) of the handset you want to call.
3. When the called handset answers, hold your conversation and press "Talk" when you want to end the call.

OR, if the called handset does not answer, press "Int" to go back to the external call.
CALL SHUTTLE
When you have transfered a call, the other handset can follow the same procedure to transfer the call back to you, this is called "call shuttle".
The call can be shuttled back and forth between the two internal handsets as many times as required.
3-WAY CONFERENCE CALL
Two internal handsets and one external handset can hold a 3-way conference call.
1. During an external call, press "Int". The external caller is put on hold.
2. Use the keypad to enter the number (from 1 to 5) of the internal handset you want to join the call.

SIMPLE SOLUTIONS
NO DIAL TONE
If you can hear the out-of-range warning tone, the handset may be too far away from the base - move closer to the base.
CANNOT DIAL OUT
If you have mult-handsets registered to your base another handset may already be on a call
Check if the handset links with the base by pressing "Find Handset" on the base.
HANDSET DOES NOT RING/RING IS LOW
Check the ringer volume level
HANDSET IS NOT CHARGING PROPERLY
Check that the red-charge light is on and that the handset is sitting correctly in the base or charger
Clean the charging contacts with a dry soft cloth
REPLACING THE HANDSET BATTERY PACK
Over time, as the handset battery wears out, the talk and standby times after charging will reduce. The battery will eventually need replacing.
<< I have just replaced mine as one handset was making weird clicking noises. It cost me about £4.50 postage included. If you Froogle.co.uk or look on ebay you can get some very reasonable deals. The battery I bought was: 84H Cordless Phone Battery - Uniross BC102171.>>
HOW MANY TELEPHONES CAN I HAVE?
All items of telephone equipment have a Ringer Equivalence Number (REN), which is used to calculate the number of items which may be connected to any one telephone line. The total REN on one line is 4.
If you exceed a REN of 4, your phones may not ring. With different telephone types there is no guarantee of ringing, even when the REN is less than 4.
Your OT10 phone has a REN of 1 (even with additional handsets and chargers registered to your base)

Thanks, it's the initial setup, getting the base to recognise the handsets that is the main problem
