rinse light flashing is an indication the is a problem within the motor circuit. Brushes,motor or electronic.

Right side of compartment for powder when Pre wash is selected.
Middle compartment for powder when Pre wash not selected
Left side with flap for fabric conditioner.

you should check that the pump is working well and pumping out fully,clean filters if required next is the belt ok not too much play tension ok not loose. next motor does it use motor brushes to operate some do not,if it does chances are will need replaced.You can find out simply if it uses brushes br trying to order some if they are available.Hope this help Happy Easter
