I have a 50 inch samsung plasma tv that i think needs regassing. the bottom 3rd of the screen keeps going black and the picture quality is very grainy!how much would i expect to pay for such a repair....many thanks..kev
You would need to purchase a complete new screen as it is not practical or economic to have this done. I would suspect your fault could be a poor connection from the buffer board to that section of the screen or most likely, as you state, the screen is at fault. It is now just as reasonable to buy a new TV than to have the screen replaced
