My harmony touchscreen remote is working intermittently. sometimes taking out the batter works but it is not working now.

Try recalibrating the lcd. to do this, please follow the steps below:

One can incorrectly calibrate the remote by pressing areas on LCD other than the ones marked during the calibration process.

Solution
To re-calibrate a remote which has been incorrectly calibrated, please follow these steps:

1. Put the remote in safe mode.
   1. Remove the battery
   2. Hold down the System Off button on the remote while inserting the battery back into the remote
   3. Continue to hold the System Off button until the remotes LCD has lit up and reads Safe Mode
   4. Let go of the power button
2. Reboot the Remote
   1. Remove the battery once more
   2. Re-insert the battery
3. Follow the calibration wizard on the Remote to re-calibrate it by pressing on the areas indicated.
