When the TV is off but still connected to the power the light is usually yellow/orange/amber signifying that TV is in standby mode. If you do not want to see the yellow light, all you have to do is unplug the power cord. But by doing that you may have to reconfigure the TV.

Wire color to radio

light green and dark green -- right front speaker
tan and gray -- left front speaker
light blue and dark blue -- righr rear speaker
yellow and brown -- left rear speaker
orange -- constant power
yellow -- switched power
black w/ white stripe ground

always use a dc electrical test light to be certain your power connections are correct.

Your TV has a burnt CRT base socket. Replace that, it is not a tough job, but make sure that you get the exact same type of base socket.

Not a whole I can do to help. What I can do is refer you to go get a Chilton, or Haynes manual thac voers your Plymouth Voyager. They have schematics with wire colors labeled.You will have a good shot at figuring out which wire is which.
