I can only assume that you are using Windows Operating system, as you didn't give any details. If nothing at all happens, check the power. Make sure that your Monitor is plugged in & turned on, & that it is connected to the tower. Then check that your Tower is plugged in & turned on. Then check that the power point works ( have you blown a fuse? ). Ifr you mean that your screen lights up, but Windows doesn't start, try continuously hitting F8 while it is loading, so that Windows will give you the choice of using Safe Mode to start your Computer.

maybe a disc stuck in the drive? if you pull down outter door of disc drive (unless you can see the front of the disc tray already) there is a tiny hole on front of disc tray, large enough to get a paper clip wire into, that will release the tray and pop it open

Sounds like the memory is not seated securely. Open the case remove and reinstall the memory to insure it is securely seated and connected.

Nothing appears on screen just white

Restart with Mac OS disc inserted, while holding down the C key to restart from the OS on the disc.
Then launch disc utilties program and repair the permissions on your hard drive...
Restart... did it get you up to your desktop?

Please say you didn't use a liquid to clean inside the computer.

My Dell computer turns on but nothing appears. It is like my computer is asleep and will not wake up. I use broadband and I have a wireless remote. I have tried unplugging computer, but still nothing.

unpulg the computer and the screen then plug the computer back in not the screen turn the computer on then putt the screen in and if that does not work try pluging a differnt screen in and chek the pins arnt bent.
