TV is a SHARP AQUOS LCD model LC-30HV4U with an Analog tuner for the air TV reception. Other than installing an external digital to analog converter box is it possible to connect the digital antenna signal to the tuner. I should add that we live in a motor home; the antenna signal comes in to a built in small analog signal amplifier before going to the external TV amplifier via coax. This amplifier takes in signals from the Directv tuner and the Blue Ray player through L-R-Video connections. The coax signal will presumably be digital, but inputting to the coax connection as previously suggested gets me nothing. (Is the amp digital with an analog-digital interface for the one time analog signals?) So is it possible bye pass the analog input in some way? Can the termination on the coax or or the output from the signal amp be changed?
