I need a dc power cord for my skyworth tv..can't find one

Hello Joyce, it would be nice if you indicate which Skyworth TV model you have
For what you say, you might need a firmware update, or try to leave it disconnected from the power network for 10 minutes and reconnect it, if it stays the same, try to update the Firmware, enter the Skyworth page, look for updates by the model of your television
To download the update use a new flash drive, once downloaded, put it on your TV, disconnected from the power network, then connect and wait for it to do the whole process, when it finishes updating, it should turn on, as it always does.
If that does not happen, I suggest you consult a specialized technical service

Por lo que comentas, podr?a necesitar una actualizaci?n del Firmware, o prueba dejarlo desconectado de la red de energ?a por 10 minutos y vuelve a conectarlo, si sigue igual, intenta actualizar el Firmware, ingresa a la pagina de Skyworth, buscas actualizaciones por el modelo de tu televisor
Para descargar la actualizaci?n usa un pendrive nuevo, una vez descargado, lo pones en tu TV, desconectado de l red de energ?a, luego conectas y esperas que haga todo el proceso, cuando se termine de actualizar, deber?a encenderse, como lo hace siempre
Si no sucede eso, te sugiero que consultes a un servicio t?cnico especializado

It's not just a power cord, it's a power adapter.

I could not find what DC does it convert to - please read on the back what input voltage does it take (probably 12V) and how many watts.

Then your closest electronics store (best) or RadioShack or even eBay will do.

i just found a power cord took me like 3 months but heres the web site LCDPAYLESS.com make sure its a 6 volt charger though and the guy is nice, i paid almost 80 dollars and it was here within a week any more questions j hit me up.

It should show it on the old cord, or on the DC jack on the TV set. A little diagram should be right by it.
