Sony STR-DG810 w/ Bose Acoustimass 10

I connected my STR-DG810 to a Bose Acoustimass 10 system and get no audio out of the speakers (but the audio on the TV speakers work). I have my Comcast HDTV box connected to the receiver, and the receiver to the TV via HDMI cables, and nothing else. I have triple-checked all the connections, and also unplugged and re-plugged in the Acoustimass to the AC outlet. (There really is no way to tell if it is being powered.)

Thank you.

Try this:
Go into the menu settings by pressing "Receiver" --> "6-Video" --> "HDMI Audio" select "Amp," not "Amp+TV"
Yeah, it makes total sense to have a very important audio setting in the video menu.

The rear left and right channel has a audio output ic problem, first check rear speaker wires for shorts, if okay! the system will need to be assessed for repair costs.

Bose audio input receiver cable 15 pin

You can buy it on ebay but it's cheaper just to make one. If you can solder, all you need is a female 15-pin d-type connector and a bunch of speaker wire. Here is a diagram of the connections.
