My washing machine is 15 years old (Candy Alise 65) and has just started to leak water everywhere. Is it worth trying to fix it?

There could be afew reasons for you leak but would need to know the quantity things that could be , leaking filler pipes, blocked soap dispencer (fooding) , damage to any pipework leading from drum housing, water pump, or the bearing on the drum if it is baering this would be backed up by the machine becoming genrally more noisy 15 years is a good age

I have solved what seams to be your problem changing the water pump. It was much cheaper than buying a new one!

Hi there ashleypg

First of all this is not an answer to solve your problem, sorry.
But by any chance do you have the user-guide for the machine?

A relative gave me on of those machines but the thing is that i don't have way of knowing the programs because the plastics are to old and you cannot see them.

Could you be kind enough to answer me please?

Thank you very much

Filipe

NO. Not worth spending any money on a cheap, even when new, machine.

The washing machine Candy Alise 1400 rpm Washing / dryer

If the stop light on your Candy Alise 1400 RPM Washing Dryer is flashing all the time and will not start any program, you may need to reset the machine. To reset the machine, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and wait for at least 30 seconds. Then plug the power cord back in and press the start button. This should reset the machine and allow you to start a program.

Candy Alise washing machine

Question edited for clarity and spelling of 'machine'.

That sounds a bit like a delay timer.

Try pressing the Pause button ONCE. Don't press it twice for good luck!

You can also try disconnecting from the mains overnight to reset the control board.

Manual doesn't show a 'display panel'.

Hi, My Candy washer/dryer has stopped working. I get a light on either 1000 or 1400 spin, and a light on 15 minutes and nothing else. There is no water entering the machine.

you may have to take the top off in order to see if the water inlet valve is operating as that's where the water fills from

I have the Candy Alise washer-dryer, It is 3 years old. The lock door sensor light is not coming on when the door is shut, the door seems to be shutting properly and making the click noise when it closes....

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
There is likely to be a problem with the 'door closed' sensor, unfortunately requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(
Good luck,
