Printer USB Cable un recognized DCP150C
You need to isolate the problem. You tried using multiple cables and reinstalled the printer driver several times, but you never mentioned that you tried connecting the printer into another computer. What if the problem is the USB port of the computer and not the printer cable?

Try connecting and installing the problem printer into different computer for testing purpose only. If it work, then the problem is the USB port of the computer. To fix this, try updating the USB driver of your computer.

If same problem occurs using another computer, then you need to contact the manufacturer of your printer. I've heard this problem before and I don't have an update if there's a fix with it.

Unable to clean means that the waste-ink "sponge" is full. If you've already checked for small paper part (which is very unlikely, yet possible, to cause this error message), the error is mechanical. Unfortunately, that's not something us users can change, but the machine would require to be sent to service. So if your machine is not within warranty, I'd doubt it'll be worth the service cost.
Actually, there is a possability to order new parts, changed them yourself and enter service mode to reset counters.. But if it's worth it, good question.

Brother Printer DCP150c
Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Drivers and manual are available on the the Brother support site! Go to http://www.brother.com/index.htm, click on Software download Select your country then model of printer.

Then download the driver and to your pc.
