Have a Mitsubishi WD-62327 DLP projection TV. It is a few years old. Would not turn on. Blinks red - 3 short red blinks then 1 longer blinks - and repeats. We have disconnected everything, unplugged, checked bulb and filter. When you restore power, TV will turn on, fan starts but after about 15 seconds, it clicks back to the red flashing light. Help?

If you hold the input and menu button for 5 seconds it will flash you a code 36 is the lamp fan / dmd fan has gone bad. pretty common. not hard to change but will cost 100 in parts and whatever labor may be

Hello, There is a software update that is available for some Mitsubishi dlp models. The wd-65c9 is one of them. When I experienced your problem, I went to the website, downloaded the update, and installed it on my tv and boom, its fixed. It's super easy, free, and takes a few minutes.
Question title shows it is Mitsubishi WD-65737 tv. When did you replaced lamp in tv? If lamp has not been replaced in last 2-3 years, please check lamp as it seems dead, that is why tv does not turn On.

It may be necessary to disconnect and reconnect this cable to insure proper connection. 3.
