How can I keep the backlight on the clock? During the night, I want to see what time it is and the backlight only comes on when you press the power button. What am I doing wrong?

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. It sounds like that is the way the unit was designed. It's a power save feature.

Can you see the time on the screen if the room light is on? If not, the backlight won't do you any good anyway.

Unless there is some sort of menu that allows you to change it, you're probbaly stuck with the way it is. It's all in the software thats programmed into the microprocessor and that's almost impossible to modify.

The only thing I could think of is to find the backlight voltage line and power it directly off of the power supply (using isolation diodes), keeping it on all the time. This however requires you to take the unit apart and dive into the electronics - something you may not wish to do.

C150 as not working what's solution?

1

Check the orange "Hold" switch on the left side of the Sansa C150, if you cannot turn on the MP3 player or if none of the buttons is working. When the "Hold" switch is up, the buttons are disabled. Slide the "Hold" switch down to activate the buttons again.
2

Press and hold the "Power" button until the LCD screen lights up when turning on the MP3 player. Pressing the button quickly does not turn on the device. The "Power" button is located on the front of the device, under all the other control buttons.
3

Replace the AAA battery, if you cannot power on your MP3 player. To replace the battery, remove the battery cover from the back of the device by pressing in on its tab and pulling it off. Remove the old battery, insert the new battery and replace the cover. One AAA battery provides approximately 15 hours of power for your Sansa C150.
4

Change the backlight settings to conserve battery life. This is useful if you find the battery loses power quickly during normal use of your Sansa C150. To change the backlight settings, choose "Settings" to bring up the "Settings" menu. Select "Display," "Backlight" and then a shorter backlight time. The backlight will shut off after a period of inactivity that matches your backlight setting.
5

Review your music purchases to understand what rights you've purchased to the content, if you are unable to play a track back on your Sansa C150. When you purchase music, it comes with certain rules for how you can store and play it. You may not have paid for the right to transfer the song to a portable media player.
6

Reset the Sansa C150 if it acts erratically or if you have other problems. To reset the device, open the "Settings" menu and choose "Reset All." Choose "Save" to finish restoring the MP3 player to its factory default settings. If you decide not to reset the device during this process, select "Cancel" instead of "Save."

I have a sharp 37" lcd tv,model # lc37sb24u. no pix or sound, power lite comes on about 10 seconds then power and opc lites alternate on and off. thanks RON

This problems very common in Sharp LCD tvs.The Tuner signal board have problems, every times the power LED,OPC LED lites up,just push the power button on again, wait see if the LCD backlight lite up and works, not the Power lite and the OPC lite LEDS flashes again. You,just have to push the power button again, sometimes u have to push the power button at least 6 or 7 times to get the Power LED stable, and then LCD backlight, come on than the tv work. Not sure, but if the Power and OPC lites keep flashing, after u pushes the power button at lest 10 or 12 times, and the LCD backlight dosen't come on and the tv don't work.I think,it time to change the Tuner board is completely dead.I have a Sharp LCD tv, I do this everytimes pushing the power button at least 3 or 4 than the power LED stable, and the LCD backlight come on than the tv work. Not a plaw in the power supply like those capacitors in many LCD models tvs,but some included Sharp Tvs is the Tuner signal board is not very good in design, use the tv awhile the Tuner signal board have problems recieving the power to it Tuner board components.
