Check all hoses for blockages, check pump for blockage. Make sure drip dry or sud save switch / push button is off. Check for clothing item caught between inner & outer bowl using torch.
Most front load washers will give a version of this code if the debris trap is clogged or you use too much detergent. If you don't use HE detergent, the error is extremely likely. If the error is from an excess of detergent, once the suds dissipate, the washer should restart on its own. It may do an extra rinse cycle. You should try running a wash cycle with no clothes or detergent added to the washer. This will get rid of excess detergent that may be in the unit. In the future, use less HE detergent for each load. The debris trap is between the wash tub drain and the pump. This area collects coins and other foreign objects to protect the pump. You should be able to access and check the trap by taking off the back panel. Use a bucket to catch any water that may be in the trap. Take off the hose and check the trap. Make sure nothing is in the pump area that you can see. (There is at least one video for cleaning the debris trap available on YouTube.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
The "rl" (remove load) error code appears when you are running the "Clean Washer" cycle. You must not have a load of clothes in the washer during this cycle. Remove the clothes from the drum, and restart the cycle. The "Sud" error indicates that the detergent is over-sudsing. The Duet washer automatically combats this by reducing the amount of suds in the washing machine. Let the washer finish the suds-reduction steps. Use less detergent during the next wash cycle.
This error code indicates that excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. If a "Sud" or "Sd" error code is displayed, or if you can see excessive suds in the window: There are too many suds in the washing machine. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sud" or "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. See the animation below for more information.
If you see "Sud" or "Sd" with the Rinse status light on, the washer is in the process of removing suds. Let the cycle continue.
If you see "Sud" or "Sd" and the Cycle Complete light is on, the washer detected too many suds during the cycle and your load may not be fully rinsed or water may not be fully removed. You may want to select a Rinse/Spin cycle for further rinsing.
I duplicated his actions and it cleared up my SUD/F35 error. I think running the diagnostic test multiple times flushes the sensors/sensing lines to eliminate the problem.
SUD- Suds lock (Overdose of detergent detected during the wash cycle, or the actual brand is a non HE type)
The Motor Control Unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential Suds Lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds. Possible Causes / Procedure
• If too much detergent was used:
A. Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle. B. Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent. If the problem persist, follow this check list below.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 6. Check drain pump. 7. Check the pressure switch. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
Just let me know what the results are, and if any error codes appear. The "SUD" error can be caused by obstructions in the drain pump and/or using too much laundry detergent.
to much detergent...with theses unit you must use he or low suddsing detergent..take half the wet soapy clothes out then start unit..sud level must fall...
