How do you turn the ringer off on GE PHONE MODEL 29484GE2

SOURCE: Model GE 27951 - Unable to Turn Ringer back on

The headset volume is turned to zero. Hit the "menu" key on the headset and it should take you to "ringer setting", hit select for the ringer volume and turn the volume up. Not very intuitive but that should get you going!

The phone does not have batteries... it gets its power throught the telephone line cord.

On the side of the base of the phone there is a little button you can slide that will turn the ringer up, down or off.

Ringer volume
well there either should be a switch on the outside of the phone or on the answering machine part, but also, if there is a + and - button on the actually phone part to turn the ear piece up, when you are not on the phone, hit the + button and you should hear the ringer, hit it until its the loudest.
