Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

How do I remove front door to clean inside of Kitchenaid Superba convection wall oven? I took the inside panel screws off but that didn't release anything... Can't seem to figure out how to get door removed either?? Thanks!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

We put this unit on self clean and now it wont turn on nor open.

I had the same problem with a Superba wall oven. In my case, the bracket mount for the door lock warped due to the heat of the self clean cycle. We were able to open the door by inserting a coat hanger into the slight opening at the top of the door and sliding the lock lever to the left. It was a pretty easy self-repair - 1) turn off breaker 2) slide oven out 2-3" 3) remove oven front trim pieces 4) remove screws that mount control panel 5) this should give you access to the door lock mechanism.

I would like to clean in between the windows on the dooes of the oven. We have a kitchen aid superba double oven

You will have to dissassemble the door to clean between the glass. You may need to replace the gasket material when you do. It can be done but care will need to be taken during dissassembly, marking parts, so that during reassembly the unit will function correctly and not leak heat or cause the tempered glass to break. Good luck. I hope this is helpful.

Kitchen Aid microwave door -- outer glass

Lisa, I do not have a solution, but have the same problem. My KA superba micro has been used about 10 times. While it was off, and while no one was home, the outer glass in the door shattered. I suspect this may be a defect.

Kitchen Aid Superba Double Oven

Remove the oven from the wall. Remove the rear panel.
The upper and lower ovens have a non-resettable thermal fuse that has blown.
Use a VOM to verify which fuse. After repair use Easy Off, not self clean.

We have a Kitchen Aid Superba Oven/Microwave combination AFter the cleaning cycle, the oven door will not open

This is not an easy repair but if you and another person are strong, it won't be too bad. You must remove the unit from the wall and take the back off the oven. You will find a high limit thermal fuse in the center of the oven that will have 2 wires hooked to it on either side. This will be the problem child. Replace this fuse and reinstall unit in wall. Make sure to clean the vent in the front under the door to insure that it is free from lint or insulation that would block or slow the airflow into the unit. This air keeps the unit from over heating during self clean.

Interior Range Window cracked - How to Replace

It is simple enough not to need a manual.
1- open the door, then pull outwards. The door mounts slide right out.
2- lay flat on a towel on the floor. Remove screws on the inside of the door.
3- remove each piece and layer of the door and glass panels. Set them aside in order so you know how it goes back together
4- replace broken inner glass panel
5- put each piece back together, install screws
6- slide door (mounts) back into their homes on the front of the range

It is surprisingly simple. All you need is a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a bit of patience.

Tip: make sure to clean each glass panel while you have the door apart. Use a razor blade for those stubborn burnt on stains.

Kitchen Aid Double Convection Oven stopped during Self Cleaning

same thing happened to me yesterday took all day to figure it out was the themal fuse on the back of the oven the part number for my kitchen aid is 8300802 if you want the doors to unlock and reset the display you can take the leads off the fuse touch them together and the door will unlock however it is best to change the part took me 5 minutes once i knew what to look for
you have to remove the back panel and you will see the part with the number on it cost me 50 dollars but better than the 8o bucks to have a sevice guy come and do it next time i self clean i will pull the stove away from the wall to help keep it from ver heating

Cleaning Inside Glass Oven Door of KitchenAid KEMC308KSSO

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.
