thats almost always caused by a bad main board. Replaceing the main board should solve the issue you can get a replacement main board from www.tvcircuitboards.com
If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured
the are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets,
the TV needs servicing.
Help people with this problems many times.Reset ur tv,by unplug,replug it an hour later.Go to the tv menu,go to AUDIO setting go down to reset,press that to reset,will return it back to factory setting the audio well return.
I replaced 3 capacitors and fixed this problem. They were 1-10v 1000uF and 2- 10v 3300uF electrolitic board mount capacitors. Easy to spot on the power board, the tops were bulged up. $5.54 later it works perfectly now.
The Vizio VP322 is notorious for having bad capacitors on the power supply circuit board. They will probably be bulging and may have electrolyte leaking. I replaced four bad capacitors (with a different brand just in case) and fixed it. Total cost under $10. A lot cheaper and better than replacing the whole circuit board which may contain the same "faulty" capacitors from the factory
