Deli drawer Fride deli drawer falls down constantly , will not stay in track, why? Can this be fixed?

I would remove the track, clean both surfaces and stick it with clear silicone or superglue Gel. Leave it 24 hours to set.

The Drawer might be frozen in the unit

Take out your food from the freezer and let it defrost for an hour or two then you might be able to get the drawer back on track with just a little tug.

Call in a repair man, it shouldn't cost that much. Yes, your food will be effected without that plastic door, as the drawer has controls and cold settings just for deli items. You need a special glue for cold. I'd call in a repair man, or order a new drawer replacement from the manufacturer.

I understand that you have a Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHN2866PF1, and your deli drawer is freezing items. You may want to turn down the temperature within your deli drawer, when adjusting the temperature could take 24 hours for your refrigerator to stabilize. If that does not resolve your issue I would suggest removing the drawer and checking over to make sure there are no cracks where too much air may be coming in. The small meat or deli drawer tracks show to be avail for replacement as a left and right part. Front and rear screws are shown for each track. Since these parts are shown by themselves, the parts should be replaceable alone. Part# 63001371 is the left track Part# 63001372 is the right. About $5.00 each. You don't say brand or size but normally if you remove drawer and shelf above it, unless clips are broken(you can order new) install the clips, install shelf and install drawer that no longer falls down.

I sympathise with your problem and sorry about your broken toe.. The drawer sits in a slide and the rollers on the drawer travel inside the track.. If your husband is reasonable handy ( or you ) ..empty the drawer and try to get the wheels into the track on the oven.. this process is similar to that used on some kuchen cabinet drawers and furniture so it is no different..just hard to see or get it started..
With the drawer out of the oven..use a flashlight and examine the track to make sure it is not damaged ( do the same thing on the mating slide/rollers of the drawer)..
If possible, can you return to the place you bought it from and have them show you how to do it? They owe you at least that much... Good luck and take care of that toe...

hi i have the 700tc as well,,ok the best way to place the drawer,,,extend the 2 sliders all the way out,,there is one pin at the end of each slider and 1 hole on each side of the drawer lip which lays on the track ,,,the holes on the drawer must fall into the pins otherwise it will not close,,,so place the drawer on top of the slider ,,,what usually happens is the sliders tend to roll back into the housing of the fridge,,,so while the drawer is resting on the sliders reach under the lip of the drawer and pull each slider until the the holes of the drawer falls into the pins,,,when the drawer is seated in the pins it will close smooth,,,hope this helps
