Hello, follow this link to download the manual and the codes for your remotes:
http://www.ofausa.com/remote.php?type=URC6131
just right click and save as on the download links.

if this does not work you can try the search method,
you do this by either holding down the device button eg: TV or if you have one the "magic" button for three seconds, a light should then flash twice to say you have done this correctly.
then press the keys 991 then the power button.
you must now press the channel up key (ch+) possibly upto 150 times while the remote cycles through every code.
Once your tv or device switches off stop pressing the ch+ key and press the power button to make sure it switches back on,
(if you press ch+ too many times you can go back by pressing ch-)
When complete press the magic or device key again to save the settings (light should flash twice to confirm)

Many thanks
Mark

How do I go from TV mode to the DVD screen with my remote

My TV remote has a 'TV/Video' button that when pressed, toggles the TV's screen back n' forth between watching TV or viewing your DVD/VHS. Pressing the button once displays a video-1 screen, twice, a video-2 screen, and third, back to watching TV programs (having two video option screens allows for another DVD or VHS player to be assessed, as long as the TV has another rear connection for a second unit). As long as the DVD player is plugged into the back of the TV, the TV's remote (not the DVD's remote) should accomplish the function.

I cannot record using a DVD/VHS player.

You can record. From antenna to converter box, from converter box to vcr. From vcr to TV.
TV on Channnel 3 VCR on channel 3, and set channel on converter box. Then Record.

Time recording works the same way, but you can set for only one channel at a time. Tht is the only restriction that I have not overcome. The converter box sets the channel. Gee Whizz

Dvd input

I don't know this model of TV in particular. I can give you a generic answer that should allow you to figure this out.

Check the options for your TV set. See if there are the connectors at the rear side for an external audio and video input that is compatible to your DVD player. This would be an external video audio input option. If there is and you do not have a switch for it, then you need the original factory remote contol. Many of the universal remotes lack the full features of the products.

If your TV set does not have the option for external video and audio, one work around is to purchase an audio video RF TV modulator. Many of the stores that sell TV options usually carry these devices. You can then add a CATV 2 way cable switch to switch between the modulator and your cable service or antenna. You will have to purchase the additional necessary interconnect cables.

On the input of the RF TV modulator you would connect the DVD player. The quality will not be very good, but at least you will be able to watch the DVD player on your TV set.

Once you figure everything out, bring a print of this email to the dealer. When he looks at all this he should know exactly what you require.

Vhs dvd combi panasonic dmr ez47

If you select the HDMI channel to watch a dvd does it do it then, if not disconnect both ends of the scart lead and reconnect or replace. If the scart lead is not in properly this could happen, when you switch on the player and play a disc your tv will automatically switch to the AV/Scart channel, but you are better off manually turning the TV over to the HDMI Hi-Def channel for DVD.
