If you want to reset your router to its default settings what yu need here is a Pen or a Paper clip to do the procedure but before I provide you those , let me first tell you that doing the reset the router will be back to its default settings like a new router that don't have any configuration inside it and all your settings will be wiped out.
But if you want to reset the router look for the reset button on the router usually its located on the back or at the bottom of the router so while power is ON press and hold the reset button of the router for 20 seconds and then after that power it OFF for 10 seconds and when you power it back ON router is already reset to its default settings and you need to reconfigure it back.

Write down configuration information such as IP addresses, security keys, opened ports and services, etc., that you modified. (The default username is admin and the password is either password or 1234. )
Press the reset button on the back until the test light blinks. This takes about 10 seconds. (To avoid accidental resets, the small button is recessed. Use a pen or paperclip to access it.)
If the router was not cleared, try these additional steps AFTER the router has finished rebooting.
Log in with the default password

Do you have encryption enabled on your router? If so you will need to enter the encryption key of the passphrase in the network setup of the xbox 360

Basically the PS3 wireless settings needs to be configures with the Netgear wireless router settings.
To test if the modem is connects to the Internet, connect a computer into the modem, if it works then the modem is configured correctly. If it doesn't work, then contact your ISP and get them to test your modem connection.

Remember that this will ERASE ALL YOUR SETTINGS from the router, so either note them now, or be sure to have your owner's manual available.
That said, find a paper clip or suitable object and stick it into a small hole behind the router. There's a tiny switch inside. Keep it pressed for 30 seconds with the router ON, and you'll see all the lights flashing once and the router rebooting in the default configuration. Connect with an Ethernet cable and reconfigure as usual.
If it's a stock Netgear, the username/password is either admin/admin or admin/password. Keep in mind that if you got the router from your ISP or cable provider, there's no telling what they might have done with the settings, and the above procedure might leave you with an UNUSABLE router (unusable until you call the technician who knows the new factory password, that is).
