A few days ago the water feature stopped dispensing water. The ice maker is still making ice and dispensing it. I changed the filter and that didn't solve the problem. I emailed Frigidaire and they told me to call a service rep. I just make sure there isn't an easy solution to this problem before I call one.
The light comes on when you depress the paddle.
How can you tell if the water tank is frozen or not?
The paddle doesn't appear to be broken.
Take out the crisper drawers and see if the water tank is frozen is the light on the dispencer lighting up when you depress the paddle and look up in the dispencer to see if the acuating paddis broken we will go from there
My unit is only 2 years old. It was bought Spring 2006.

Water dipenser doesn't work but ice maker does. I changed the water filter but that didn't fix it. When I took out the water filter and pressed the paddle water came out of where the filter shoud be. I put the filter back in and pressed the paddle, I heard a filling noise coming from the filter for a few seconds then nothing except a faint noise from the pump motor ( or whatever it"s called)
