Turn it anti-clockwise to remove and clean, and yes there will probably be some water run out, so have a cloth/s ready to mop up water.
If the filter handle has a screw in it, undo the screw before trying to move it.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Samsung model WF 328AAW/XAA not spinning or draining; where is the drain filter located

The drain filter on the Samsung model WF 328AAW/XAA is located behind the lower kick panel. To access it, you'll need to first unplug the washing machine and shut off the water supply. Then, you'll need to remove the lower kick panel by removing the screws that hold it in place. Once the panel is removed, you should be able to see the drain filter. It's a small, circular filter that is located near the base of the machine.
If the drain filter is clogged, it can cause the washing machine to not spin or drain properly. To clean the filter, you'll need to remove it and rinse it under running water until all of the debris is removed. Then, reinsert the filter and replace the kick panel.
If the drain filter is not the problem, there could be other issues causing the washing machine to not spin or drain. Some other possible causes include a faulty drive belt, a malfunctioning drain pump, or a problem with the control board. If you're unable to diagnose and fix the problem on your own, you may need to call a professional appliance repair technician for further assistance.

Ctd80 hotpoint dryer panel flashing dryer not working

Filter at bottom of machine needs pulling out and cleaned on a regular basis. This is a common fault and the lights is telling you to clean the filter. It is a large filter that unclips at the bottom front of machine. Remove two small screws from the front of the filter located left and right and gently remove the front plate. Once removed you will see a metal filter clogged with clothing debris. Clean with cotton buds and a damp cloth till clean. replace all parts and you should have it working once again with a good heat source as well. Every 2-3 months is sufficient to keep it cleaned. Hope this helps.

About half way through the wash cycle the machine start beeping and code F2 begins 2 flash

This sounds like it is taking too long to drain. If the drain cycle exceeds eight minuites F 02 will flash. Shut the maching off and remove the access pannel below the door by removing the two screws at the front left and front right of the panel. After removing the screws pull down on the panel and remove. In the middle of the machine you will see the drain pump and motor assembly. Grasp the cap on the front of the pump and turn counter clock wise and remove cap and filter assembly. Make sure you have plenty of towels ready as plenty of water will come out when the cap is removed. Clean out the plastic filter tray and check to make sure nothing else is lodged inside filter cavity. Reassemble and it should work ok now.

Does my hotpoint washing machine aquarius wd64 have a filter

if your hotpoint has no obvious filter ( small flap on front ) its likely to be the type that has the filter built into the main exit hose from the drum to the pump. Clearing these is not as easy.

pull machine out and unplug it, on the rear there is a panel at the bottom which when removed you will see the pump where the exit hose attaches. From the pump to the drum is normally a wider black pipe and this contains the filter. removal of the pipe from the bottom of the drum is normally a jubilie clip but some have plastic clips that are easy to break. once you have dropped the pipe from the drum ( water goes everywhere ) you can then remove the white filter assembly which is like a shuttle **** with ping pong ball in it. clean out fully andd make sure its all back together as before.

Not easy but the blocked filter causes so many hotpoint issues. Its a pain the way they have built it inside the machine rather than making it user friendly.

Lost jewellery in washing machine

Overfilling loads can cause small objects like pins, coins, and small socks to get between the tub abd Basket of your washer.

The basket is held onto the rear half of the outer tub simply by the bolt to the main pulley.
Remove the bolt, remove the pulley, and the basket shaft should slip right out of the bearings of
the rear tub.

Simply shining a light around between the basket and outer tub should confirm that there is something in there, since you have access to do this with
the front tub removed. Go ahead, remove the pulley and bolt, and if
the basket comes out, then check everything out.

If it doesn't, don't try pounding it out; stop there and go to plan B, which is a new basket
and tub assembly.

Miele leak when switched on for wash, from filter unit front LHS bottom of machince

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110
