Repair manuals are available only to Husqvarna Viking authorized dealers. However, I have seen some on ebay from time to time. Sounds like your problem could be several things - binding of the internal drive shaft which may have a build up of grease and lint which unbinds as you sew, could be a faulty motor, or faulty transformer. Suggest that it be serviced and cleaned by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.
Most likely your machine is seizing due to old dried oil. Your machine speeds up after a while of running because it has heated up the old oil. Address the problem soon as continued use can damage the motor.
Wheel on right side that controls the needle up and down is very tight...

I would clean it, especially Under the feed-dog. With a toothbrush, clean out all lint and threads from before. Your Excellent machine is struggling to do what you want. Dad taught me to clean sewing machines, way back. No matter the make, they all want to be free of 'stuff.' Hope this helps.
