Is there any computer connected to the router with the cable ?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router.
Check the Ip address and default gateway. default gateway will be the current Ip address of your router.
Once you open the router set up page with the current IP address , you will be able to change the IP address of the router

The 192.168.0.1 is the device IP.
Your trying to change the "Default Gateway" mine is set to 192.168.1.1
Let me explain (:
1.Go to start>run>type "cmd" without quotes and press enter.
The black screen should appar, in that screen type "ipconfig/all" without quotes.
And press enter.

For you, your IP it shows would be something like:
192.168.1.101
Each device hooked up to your network gets its own IP it will start at 192.168.1.101 for the first device, then 192.168.1.102 then the next device gets 192.168.1.103,etc...
Your default gateway, 192.168.1.1 is where it starts, to change this go to:

Yes, resetting it will revert it back to factory settings (and therefore original IP address). Sometimes it is best to start over when something like this happens. ;)
Remember though, if you are configuring your router with a wireless connection you need to disconnect/reconnect to you wireless network (because you just changed it's address).
NOTE: If the IP address of the router has been changed, type the router's IP address in the "Address" bar instead.
