How to reset Windows SBS administrator password?

Reset Windows SBS administrator password seems to be a tough thing. But don't need to be panic. There are two effective methods for you to reset Windows SBS admin password. The first method may be a little easier than the second one.
Method one: Reset Windows SBS 2011 Password with Windows Password Genius
1. Download iSunshare Windows Password Genius, launch it and insert USB or DVD/CD into your accessible computer.
2. Create a Windows SBS 2011(Windows Small Business Server) password reset disk by USB or DVD/CD. Select right removable device and click "Begin burning" button
3. Insert the USB or DVD/CD into your locked Windows SBS, set Windows SBS boot from USB or DVD/CD.
4. Choose Windows SBS 2011 and user account, Click "Reset password", then "Reboot" computer after successfully reset password to blank
Method two: Reset Windows SBS 2011 Password with Start Disk
1. Restart your Windows SBS 2011 with the installation CD or any USB/DVD you can boot from and get access to the HDD drive.
2. Booted from SBS 2011 media, select Next
3. Select Repair your computer
4. Select your partitions and installed Windows version and click Next
5. Select command prompt
6. Change directory to the access the system 32 directory. Then your original C:drive is changed to D: or E: depending on the number of drive and partitions you have on that system.
7. Rename Utilman.exe to Utilman.old and copy cmd.exe to Utilman.exe, exit and reboot
After the reboot select the Ease of access icon
8. You will get a command prompt and use net user admin user password to change the password
At the user logon screen, press a combination of Windows KEY+U, then the CMD.exe will appear. Type net user "Username""new password"
After you changed the password, exit the command prompt and login in with the new password. Don't forget to change the Utilman.old back to Utilman.exe. It could be that you will need to reboot with your media to change the Utilman back.

I have just installed a SATA Tanberg RDX Quikckstore drive in a Fujitsu Siemens Primergy Econel S2 Server and now it just hangs on the Windows Server 2003 SBS screen with the progress bar cycing. There...

I'm finding a similar problem with an Imation (Freecom badged) RDX drive. On a SBS 2011 server, it just doesn't put in an appearance, not even showing in the BIOS. On a Win7 PC, it appears but hangs the PC.

The best solution so far for me is to connect a Sata->USB interface and plug the RDX sata cable into it, then plug in to a USB port. It then works.

I'm guessing there is a firmware problem with the drive, and I'm looking into that possibility.

Hope that helps.

I have a Windows 2003 SBS Standard Edition. The IP address is: 192.168.1.5 I also have a linksys WRV210 (192.168.1.1). This is what shows up on client machine (XP Pro) Physical Address. . . . . . . ....

Your DNS should be 192.168.1.1, which is the IP of your router, unless you are running your own registered DNS server on Windows 2003.

If you are having issues with loading websites when you go out to the Internet, you may want to log in to the admin account on your router and manually type in the DNS information that the router is getting from your ISP.

I have an IPhone that was purchased recently. It has been fully updated through ITunes. I am trying to connect to a Windows SBS SP2 server. I can connect to other sbs servers just fine. I have compared all...

You have SP2? Is that for Exchange Server or the SBS 2003 OS or both? Make sure you have the latest Service Packs installed for both. I think that's SP2. Exchange Server has to be updated to work with the iPhone. Check that the settings in IIS are the same for Security, Authentication where to use SSL (although different certificate for each server) etc. for OMA, OWA, Exchange etc.

Sync my contacts and calendar from outlook to iphone

You are on the right track.
You need to install the SBS 2003 SP2 package.
It contains Windows Server 2003 SP2 and Exchange 2003 SP2 along with other important updates. (It is a big download.)
Install all of the updates staring with Windows Server SP2.
Once you complete the install of Exchange SP2 your iPhone should sync.

FYI: If you use Remote Web Workplace you will need to forward TCP port 4125 on your firewall to your SBS server after this update or RWW won't work properly.

I hope this helps.

Microsoft Exchange server

I think you mean email *facilities* although your version may be more accurate :-)))

You can't just download it - you have to buy it. If you want it for a relatively small organisation it is much cheaper to buy SBS 2003 which includes both Server 2003 and Exchange as well as other useful things. It's also relatively straightforward to install & get working although I highly recommend reading one of the many guide books that are available first.

If you really need to install them separately and have not set Exchange up before (or been on a course on how to do it) you are likely to have serious problems getting it working. It's complex, requires quite a bit of specialist knowledge and there are many pitfalls.

Sorry I can't be more helpful :{
